 FAQs

  • Spot cleaning as well as a gentle handwash are acceptable options for your rug! You can also vacuum if things get “hairy” or to fluff up your rug. Trimming with scissors is always an option for any loose stragglers. If you have additional concerns feel free to message me via the contact form in the drop down menu.

Meet your maker

Hi I’m Lana!

I am the creator of RugBurnout! In 2020, like many others, I fell in love with tufting and its marriage between art and functionality. What excites me about rug making is that it’s a tactile, messy, slow process and a craft that has been around since about 2,000 B.C. It’s been modernized to make the art form more accessible to artists and customers alike. My goal is to make rugs that are as attainable as possible to all by providing payment plans as well as working with you to make custom rugs in your price range. I love the idea that these pieces might be shared with friends, children, and future generations.

With each rug, know that I am sending love and light to you and all those who enter your home!
